Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the inner court, and the Glory of the Lord filled the temple.

I heard someone speaking to me from the temple while the man was standing beside me. The voice said to me:

  1. Ezekiel 43:7 The word most often means corpses or lifeless idols. There is no evidence for kings being buried at high places, so the reference is probably to lifeless idols or to ceremonies for the spirits of the dead kings.
